Did you know that Hayao Miyazaki was born today in 1941? He is a Japanese film director, screenwriter, animator, author, and manga artist known for his remarkable storytelling and vivid characters. He has been called one of the best animation filmmakers in history and has won many awards for his movies. He has worked on almost 45 animated movies or TV shows including Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, The Secret World of Arrietty, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and My Neighbor Totoro.
