Did you know that Miguel de Cervantes was born today in 1547?  He was a famous Spanish poet, play writer, and novelist.  One of his nicknames was “The Prince of Wits”.   He is best known for the novel Don Quixote, which is considered one of the greatest works of fiction in the world.  The story is about the accidents and adventures of a Spanish nobleman and his squire or companion.  The nobleman had a powerful and overactive imagination.  He saw giants and monsters where others saw windmills.
