Did you know that the Sei whale is the fourth-largest whale in the world?  Sei whales grow to be about 40-50 feet long and weigh about 30,000-40,000 pounds.  A baby sei whale is called a calf, and is about 14-15 feet long.  Sei whales are baleen whales and they also eat krill and zooplankton, like blue and humpback whales.  They can eat around 2,000 pounds of food each day!  Sei whales are one of the fastest whales; over a short distance, it can swim at 31 miles per hour (the fastest sprinter in the world runs at about 28 mph during a 100 meter dash).

We hope that you have a wonder-filled day.  Remember to think kind thoughts, use kind words, and do kind things.  We Love You.
