Did you know that today is International Nurses Day? It’s also Florence Nightingale’s birthday. Florence Nightingale was born in 1820 and is considered the founder of modern nursing. A nurse is someone who helps to take care of people who are ill or injured. A nurse also helps people stay healthy or improve their health. Nurses work in many locations including: hospitals, doctors’ offices, health centers, and schools. To become a nurse, you can train at a hospital or you can study at a university or community college.
We hope that you have a healthy day! Remember to think kind thoughts, use kind words, and do kind things.
