Did you know that Nelle Harper Lee was born today in 1926?  She is better known as Harper Lee, the author of the prize winning novel “To Kill a Mockingbird”.  It took her many years of writing and re-writing before “To Kill a Mockingbird” was published.  The story follows a young girl named “Scout” and talks about courage, justice, honor, and many other things.  The novel won the Pulitzer Prize and has been voted as Best Novel of the Century.  Many years later, in February 2015, Harper Lee announced that she would publish a second novel, “Go Set a Watchman”.  This novel will be published in July 2015.
