Did you know that Victor Marie Hugo was born today in 1802?  Victor Hugo was a poet, writer, playwright, and artist.

He wrote more than 70 novels, volumes of poetry, and plays.  Some of his novels include The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Les Miserables.  His written works inspired, and continue to inspire music, movies, musicals, and more.  For example, the play Le roi s’amuse, was adapted into the opera Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi.  Les Miserables has inspired many movies and a musical, which has been in production for more than 30 years.
