Did you know that in 1913 The Ford Motor Company introduced the first moving assembly line? An assembly line is one way to build complicated things, like cars, quickly by using team work. Instead of one person building the car from start to finish, an assembly line has multiple teams. For example, with a car, one team is responsible for installing the engine, another attaching doors, and another putting on wheels. By splitting up the jobs, team work helps to get things done faster.
